The company Opera has signed an agreement with TeliaSonera International Carrier, in accordance with which a major international provider of accommodation and provide a new communications data-center Norwegian company in Poland.
This data center will become the fourth server platform Opera, and will process requests from users of the mobile browser Opera Mini from the European region. With the advent of new data-center and the release of resources from other areas of the server (in Norway, the United States and China) to download information from the Internet for Opera Mini users worldwide will be even faster.
Poland as the location of the new data-center, was selected based on their geographic location. In countries such as Russia, Poland and Ukraine browser Opera Mini enjoys high popularity, and its degree of penetration is the highest. Location of server platforms in close proximity to a vast consumer audience will allow faster processing of requests for information from Web sites. Over time, new data center will serve all users of Opera Mini in Central and Eastern Europe.
