LG ARENA awarded iF Communication Design Award for its three-dimensional user interface for S-Class

Company LG Electronics announced that it has been awarded the iF Communication Design Award 2009 for its own development - a three-dimensional user interface for S-Class, which is equipped with a phone LG ARENA (LG KM900). LG ARENA won the iF Gold Award in the category «interfaces».

Award iF Design Communication Award for innovative products that are perfectly combines functionality, ease of management and aesthetics. The best product in each category, which has already been awarded the Award iF Design, in turn, receives an award iF Gold. This year, 30 iF Gold Award winners were selected among 1368 applicants. Phone LG ARENA is the first product and is awarded iF Gold Award in the newly created category «interfaces». This award proves that the S-Class is easy to use and excellent in terms of design.

Three-dimensional user interface for S-Class is powered by LG was introduced in phones Viewty Smart (LG GC900), LG GM730 and LG GD900 Crystal. Each of these devices, the words of the manufacturer, designed to meet the most demanding requirements, and the interface is designed so as to help users get the most from a mobile phone.
