Organization OMTP joined the consortium W3C

Organization OMTP, sponsored by several operators - 3 Group, AT & T, T-Mobile, Telenor, Telefonica, Telecom Italia and Vodafone - reported a membership of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). As part of the consortium and with the support she will continue to work on their own initiative BONDI. The project is called, by the way, in honor of the Australian beach, organized to address the problem of incompatibility of mobile applications with different phone models. TE because of the fragmentation of mobile platforms for the same application may need to rewrite several times for different vehicles. BONDI The aim is to create a single platform, suitable for the development of applications for a wide variety of mobile devices. According to OMTP, adherence to the W3C will allow to transfer a BONDI to a new level of development through the use of power consortium.
