70% mobile users do not download programs

Against the backdrop of growing popularity of various services for the sale of applications, reported that 70% of mobile users have never downloaded to your mobile phone program is sobering. Indeed, for most owners of a mobile phone remains in first place, means of communication, so they do not think that using these devices can, for example, go to the Internet or communicate through the service for instant messaging.

This poll was conducted among 3000 owners of mobile phones in the U.S., Japan, Spain and the UK. Here are some more interesting numbers:

• 62% do not see your phone as an extension of your computer (for example, to connect to the internet);
• Only 23% could say that the understanding of your phone is not worse than in the computer;
• 67% of those surveyed want to choose an application, rather than receiving them from the provider.
Most likely, with the growing popularity of smartphones and increase the number of active users of the service to purchase applications.
