The first beta version of mobile browser Fennec

Developers of mobile browser Fennec (Firefox Mobile) announce the release of its first beta version: Fennec 1.0 Beta 1. However, it is only available for Maemo platform and is already available for download on the internet tablet Nokia N810. According to the developers, the beta version of Fennec includes quite a few bug fixes and improvements, in particular, has increased the speed of downloading the browser.

In addition, the mobile Firefox now includes TraceMonkey - a new engine from Mozilla to handle JavaScript, this significantly increases the speed of the work with scenarios. It has also been improved bookmark management, scaling, moving on the page and added support additions (Add-on), like the desktop Firefox. And, of course, preserved the basic useful features Fennec: Organization of pages with tabs, an embedded search, bookmarks, pop-up blocking, password manager, the opportunity to make a call from a phone number in the "one-click, and much more.
