NXP has announced the results of the first quarter of 2009

Company NXP Semiconductors announced that sales in the first quarter of 2009 amounted to 673 million U.S. dollars, in line with the decline of 29.4% compared with fourth quarter 2008 adjusted earnings before deducting interest, taxes and amortization (EBITDA) in the first quarter showed a loss of 71 million U.S. dollars, compared with an income of 183 million U.S. dollars in 2008 and an income of 41 million dollars in the fourth quarter 2008 adjusted profit EBITA in the quarter showed a loss of 188 million U.S. dollars compared with a profit of 41 million U.S. dollars during the corresponding period last year and the loss of 84 million dollars last quarter.
