Analytical company J'son & Partners provided a regular monthly bulletin of the state's mobile communications market in Russia. For example, in June 2009 the number registered in Russia SIM-cards has risen to 197.0 million level of penetration in Russia amounted to 138,7%, while in Moscow licensed area [MLZ] was 191.8%.
Cumulative growth of subscribers in June 2009 amounted to 2.7 million [1.4%]. In June 2009, the monthly growth increase of 109% compared to June 2008 [+ 1,4 million]. Over the past 12 months the total subscriber base of Russian operators increased by 24.6 million [14.3%]. On 30 June 2009 the first place on this indicator at the national level takes Vympelcom [7.6 million], the second place - MegaFon [6.7 million], and the third - MTS [6.0 million].
The highest rate of growth of subscribers in 3 months demonstrated Tele2 [8,2%] and MegaFon [4.2%].
