HTC revenues up over 20% on year in June

Taiwan-based handset vendor HTC (High Tech Computer) has posted revenues of NT$14.31 billion (US$434.95 million) for June, up 14.7% on month and 20.9% on year, according to a company press release.

HTC also saw its revenues grow 10.3% on year to NT$38 billion in the second quarter, matching the company's projection for a 8-11% growth to NT$37.5-38.5 billion, the data showed.

The company also said that it snapped after-tax profits of NT$6.49 billion in the second quarter of 2009 compared to NT$4.88 billion in the first quarter.

For the first half of this year, EPS (earnings per share) stood at NT$15.25 before ex-rights and NT$14.27 after ex-rights, the company added.
