Nokia acquires cellity

The company Nokia has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the assets of the cellity, a private company from Hamburg (Germany) dealing with the development of mobile applications and has a dedicated staff of 14 persons.

States Nokia, the purpose of the acquisition team cellity is to strengthen its competence in the field of social networks. cellity now offers a solution for the collection and secure storage of user's contacts in one place, which is believed to Nokia, provides a simple way of combining mobile and web users.

Completion of the transaction to acquire the assets specified in the agreement will be standard procedure, and is expected to be issued in the third quarter of this year. After that, the state team cellity become part of the Nokia's Services.
