Nokia has updated the navigation on Ovi Maps

The company Nokia has announced the availability of a new version of its navigation software Ovi Maps, which was added to support additional features and services: high-resolution satellite and ground-based maps - as two-or three-dimensional versions of their performance, including 3D landmarks for more than 200 cities.

In Ovi Maps for mobile phones has been expanded POI (Points Of Interest - Points of interest) Services Lonely Planet, Michelin, and Wcities, where the latter offers 24-hour weather forecast for 5 days.

The developers also say that the new version of the program was separately optimized pedestrian and car navigation, given the variety of requirements - in the first case focuses on the improvement of orientation in the city or in the open space, while the second - to increase safety in the movement of the vehicle providing information on the status of traffic and additional traffic signs.
