NXP has announced the results of the second quarter

Company NXP Semiconductors announced that sales in the second quarter of 2009 amounted to 857 million U.S. dollars, which corresponds to an increase in 26.2% compared with first quarter 2009 sales growth is largely due to the need to replenish the supply networks of warehouses at the end of the first quarter of 2009 and increased demand for some products, mainly in China.

Net profit for the second quarter of 2009 amounted to 344 million U.S. dollars, compared with losses of 319 million U.S. dollars in the second quarter of 2008 and losses of 568 million dollars in the first quarter of 2009, growth of net profit is largely attributable to the improvement of financial state of the company in an exchange of securities.
