Straightline Welcomes Jessica Orkin as Managing Director

NEW YORK, -- Jessica Orkin has joined the management team of Straightline, a leading independent brand consultancy in New York City. As Managing Director, Orkin will lead operations and oversee business development and strategy for the firm.

Orkin comes to Straightline from Carpenter Group, where she oversaw client engagement teams as EVP, Strategy and Account Management. She led client strategy development and consulted on branding, marketing and customer experience. During her tenure, she partnered with companies such as Ameriprise Financial, ADP, Lehman Brothers, MetLife, Prudential Financial, TIAA-CREF and UBS.

Prior to Carpenter Group, Orkin was the Executive Producer at Plumb Design / Thinkmap, where she directed teams developing interactive branding and marketing and led relationships with companies such as Motorola, Shiseido, Sony Music, Watson Wyatt and Zurich Financial. Orkin graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University and has attended executive education at the Harvard Business School.
