Samsung and VMAX demonstrated the industry's first session of the global roaming of Mobile WiMAX

South Korean company Samsung Electronics and Taiwan's WiMAX operator VMAX Telecom announced the successful demonstration of the industry's first Mobile WiMAX global roaming session on conference at Broadband Taiwan 2009.

At this conference, Samsung and VMAX presented mobile Internet device called Mondi, which was registered in the network of North American Mobile WiMAX operator Clearwire. In addition, it demonstrated the interaction between mobile WiMAX networks VMAX in northern Taiwan and Tatung WiMAX network in the south.
