Samsung sold its 50 millionth touch phone

South Korean company Samsung Electronics announced the sale of (global) of its 50 million phones with integrated touch screen.

The company notes that this year it sold at the end of November, some 40 million units, while last year the number was only 10 million this sales growth, according to the company, said of the fact that consumer acceptance of mobile phones with touch screen , which uses an intuitive user interface, rich set of multimedia features and elegant design.

Samsung has designed this year to sell about 200 million units of mobile phones, of which 20% will have to share phones with touch controls, whereas last year the proportion was only 5%.

The bulk of these sales occurred in the model Star (S5230) with more than 10 million units. Among the other popular models, the company celebrates its last year's hit - F480 (9 million) and the latest novelty - Corby (S3650), which has sold 3 million copies in just two months since the launch of their sales.
