Company Mail.Ru and Google signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of search and advertising technologies. Search engine portal Mail.Ru, a member of the three leaders at the Russia's market, from January 2010, will use search technology Google, as well as displaying search results relevant ads AdSense. This Mail.Ru plans to actively develop its own search technology.
Search "engine" is used without mentioning the brand Google. Mail.Ru will be able to handle the requests of users using its own technology, in order to test and further improve their development, and as a consequence - the whole product as a whole.
It should be noted that in 2003-2005 the company Mail.Ru and Google have already successfully cooperated in the field as a search technology and content.
