Verizon Teams Up With Samsung; Offers Wholesalers Internet Service-Gateway CPE Bundle for Small- and Medium-Sized Business Customers

Bundle Addresses Growing VoIP and Data Needs of Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses.

NEW YORK, -- Verizon announced on Thursday (Oct. 22) an arrangement with electronics provider Samsung that will allow Verizon Partner Solutions to offer its wholesale customers the innovative Samsung Ubigate(TM) series of gateway routers that can be bundled with Verizon Internet Dedicated Access (IDA) service. The Internet service-gateway router package is ideal for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Under Verizon's offering, its wholesale customers that offer their end-users Verizon's popular IDA service can also receive discounted pricing on Samsung Gateway routers and sell both services to small- and medium-sized businesses that are looking to add VoIP and other data services.

"The arrangement demonstrates our commitment to the growing small- and medium-sized business sector of the economy," said Amy Stern, director of product management and product development for Verizon Partner Solutions, the Verizon business unit that serves wholesale customers. "The key is offering our wholesale customers an array of telecom products that are competitive in their markets."
