Company J'son & Partners Consulting presented the main results of the updated study of the market of corporate IP-telephony. The report "The market for enterprise IP-telephony in Russia and the world, 2010" examined key trends and prospects of development of communication based on Internet Protocol to make market forecasts to 2013

According to J'son & Partners Consulting, a segment of the corporate voice communications Russia will develop a script developed with a delay of 1-3 years (depending on the region).

According to forecasts J'son & Partners Consulting, in the corporate sector share of organizations located in cities with million-using IP-telephony in all its manifestations, will increase from 39% in 2009 to 68% in 2013

The share of Russian enterprises that use IP-telephony, 2009-2013:

In the coming years the main driver of growth of penetration of IP-telephony in the corporate sector will not only direct (reducing the cost of telecommunications), but also the indirect economic benefits, for example, associated with the growth of labor productivity in the introduction of modern means of communication.

In the area of small businesses and companies where there are no strict requirements for security are likely to continue active use of Skype, Sipnet and similar programs, while more serious customers will be required "closed" intra-corporate decision. In this direction is expected to increase the number of projects to implement Unified Communications (UC) from leading vendors.

In the coming years, with growing penetration of broadband access in Russia will continue the marked increase in traffic VoIP, which will gradually take a greater and greater share of the traffic of traditional telecommunications. The activity will be observed from both the private and corporate sector. As the individual and corporate users are aware of the fact that the quality of voice in IP-telephony can be not only worse, and even better than traditional telephony, a growing number of such users will weigh in favor of alternative IP-based communications. The increasing popularity of VoIP will help increase the number of models of user devices, in particular, relatively inexpensive SIP-phones, as well as the expansion and improvement of new services, marketing campaigns, etc.

According to forecasts J'son & Partners Consulting, the share of VoIP-traffic in the total long-distance traffic in Russia will rise from 8% in 2008 to 40% in 2012

The share of VoIP-traffic in the long-distance traffic in Russia, 2008-2012:

One of the expected trend is to market those VoIP operators WiMAX, which is not an affiliation with the traditional telecommunications operators and cellular operators. Thus, the company Skartel (Brand name Yota) is planning soon to offer VoIP services with free calls within the network and by low prices (compared to the rates of traditional operators) - to mobile and landline phones. It is expected that soon Yota introduce a new mobile phone that can work in GSM networks and mobile WiMAX and will come preinstalled with the application for VoIP-calls. However now, with the launch of the first mobile WiMAX network in the country of Russia's largest providers of SIP-telephony, such as Sipnet, note the marked increase in traffic in their networks.
