Siberian branch of MegaFon has introduced a set of SIGOS for diagnosing the quality of telecommunications

The mobile operator MegaFon said that it completed the implementation of the Siberian branch of the complex SIGOS, allowing to diagnose the quality of transmitted voice information between the 5 biggest cities of Siberian region.

According to the company's technological Stationary SIGOS allows real-time to monitor the quality of voice data at greater distances. A specially recorded sound file is a standard of quality is passed from one node communication MegaFon to node communication company in another city, where it is receiving and playing. This system analyzes the result obtained with the in memory copy of the original file and in case of serious deviations notify the duty shift technicians.

The system determines SIGOS delays, excessive noise and interference, as well as other possible distortions of the voice signal, which can be heard by a subscriber. In the case of significant discrepancies analyzes the work of main channels of communication and made relevant in the elimination of possible problems. Complex modules are installed and operating in Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo, Omsk and Barnaul.
