Consumption of mobile Internet services in the life :) network grew by 60% in 2012

Ukrainian mobile operator life :) announced summarizing the 2012 consumption of Internet traffic on their networks. As stated by the operator, last year's daily consumption of mobile Internet services increased by 60%, while the voice - by 7.3% compared with 2011. As a result, the daily peak traffic increased by 58% - from 9.2 TB to 14.5 TB (December 2011 to December 2012). According life :), the main factors of this trend belong to the growing demand of its customers on the mobile Internet, the growth of number of users of smartphones, as well as competitive rates. In addition, in 2012, the operator had a number of measures to upgrade the network, increasing thus its capacity and data transfer rate. As a result, the average download speed data content on the network life :) was 125 KB / sec. leading cities for speed mobile Internet became Mariupol, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Simferopol, Lviv, Luhansk and Kharkiv. As leaders of the consumption of traffic on the network life :) left Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk and Lviv.
