Regions Mobile Banking available to customers
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Many people leave their homes each day with a few familiar items – wallets, keys or bags. Now consumers and small business owners can carry another familiar item wherever they go – their bank.
With the rollout of Regions Mobile Banking, customers can carry their bank on the same mobile phone where they hold their favorite contacts, calendar and music. Regions Mobile Banking allows customers a safe and secure way to access Regions Online Banking on their mobile phones and review accounts, check balances, view account history, make payments and transfer funds.
Regions Mobile Banking is an application that can be downloaded to a mobile phone and is already available on many newer phones. To use Regions Mobile Banking, customers must first log in to Regions Online Banking, select the Mobile Banking tab at the top and follow the on-screen steps to download this tool. Regions offers this service at no cost, though standard data charges from a user’s wireless carriers apply.
Regions Mobile Banking can be accessed by wireless customers of AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Cellular South and Alltel Wireless. For a list of mobile devices that support Regions Mobile Banking visit www.regions.com/mobilebanking.
“Regions has a history of adapting to the times and how customers want to do business. Like ATMs and the Internet before it, Regions Mobile Banking isn’t just a convenient way to bank; it’s banking that fits the busy lifestyle that many of us share,” said David Rupp, Regions senior executive vice president, consumer services.
