Today, the company Garmin and ASUS announced the creation of a strategic alliance that will develop the design, manufacture and sale of GPS-devices, co-brand. It is known that the company has already worked, when worked on the line appliances Garmin-Asus nüvifone. The Alliance hopes to present this year a number of interesting devices, with one model of phone GPS-Garmin-Asus nüvifone will be displayed soon at the Mobile World Congress 2009, which starts February 16 in Barcelona.
It was also noted that in the first half of this year's Alliance perevypustit one of the models of Garmin, which will now be known as Garmin-Asus nüvifone G60, possibly by updating the way the unit itself.
Apparently, the consolidation of large companies will enable them to strengthen the position in the market GPS-devices, especially in such difficult times.
