Samsung comes with first 12 MP GSM

At the Mobile World Congress, which will start in two weeks in Barcelona, Samsung will announce her first 12 megapixel camera phone. Digital zoom, flash, you name it!

Unfortunately, no photos of the device are available at the moment, but Mobile Phone Helpdesk managed to get some information today about what Samsung will announce at the Mobile World Congress. The Korean brand will at least announce two cameraphones and a smartphone, one with a 12 megapixel camera and one with an 8 megapixel camera.

Cameraphones
This year, Samsung will come with two photography devices, and the nice thing is that the first will already be in the shops in March. The least spectacular cameraphone that the brand will announce is an 8 megapixel device with optical zoom, the direct follower of the Samsung INNOV8, this device also might operate on the Symbian system.

Second in line is the first 12 megapixel cameraphone of Samsung. Maybe some other brands will also announce such a device during this edition of the Mobile World Congress, but at least we're certain with Samsung. Without optical zoom, but with all kinds of other possibilities that we are used to with, for example, the Samsung INNOV8. Unfortunately, this device will not operate on the Symbian system.

Samsung's first Android device
As jackpot Samsung will announce her first Android device within two weeks. What this device will be like exactly and what it will offer is something we have to keep as a secret for now, but we can say that it is promising and that it offers a lot of user-friendliness as we are used to with Samsung.
