Fujitsu will make it possible to delete information, even the break notebooks

Japanese company Fujitsu and the Japanese operator Willcom today introduced a new technology designed primarily for corporate users, which allows you to remotely erase information from the hard drive of their notebook PCs, which were stolen or lost.

This decision is based on the use of special communication module, embedded in laptops, and allows you to remotely delete information from it even if it is disabled. But to carry out the removal, a laptop must be in the zone operator's network coverage of PHS Willcom.

Commercial launch of notebooks with the Fujitsu module is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, and the first public technology demonstration will take place at the premises of the Tokyo International Forum in the activities of Fujitsu Forum 2009 to be held from 14 to 15 May this year.
