The new mobile processor from Renesas Technology - SH-MobileHD1 with support for recording and playback of Full HD Video

The company Renesas Technology announced the release of the industry's first processor (product number: SH7370) for mobile phones, through which mobile phones can record and play back video in the resolution of Full HD (1920h1080 points).

Output video processing module SH-MobileHD1 exceeds nearly six times the current performance of similar products. In addition, a small energy, whose low level of both is required for mobile phones, has a new small size and high productivity. The device hardware supports recording and playback in the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format in the resolution of Full HD with the frame rate 30 frames / sec. The maximum working frequency of the new processor is 500 MHz. In addition, SH-MobileHD1 has two embedded 24-bit audio processor that will significantly reduce the load on the CPU processing of stereo, including support for formats AAC, HQ, and Dolby Digital, as well as cope with the burden of processing and 5.1-channel audio .

Also, the interface chip SH-MobileHD1 supports connection (using the external component) HDMI interface, SD card, wireless (WLAN) networks, multiplexing transmission formats MPEG2-TS (transport system) and MP4, 15 MP camera modules, and also has a built-controllers 24-bit LCD panel and the audio interface.
