modu launches its novel cellphone

Kfar-Saba, Israel - modu, the developer and manufacturer of the world's lightest cellphone, has chosen Israel as the first country in the world to introduce the modu™ phone and the modu™ jackets. This initial launch precedes the full commercial launch with Cellcom Israel that will take place later this year. modu will launch in Europe, Southeast Asia and South America later this year.

The initial launch will start on Wednesday in Israel, where Cellcom Israel will offer a limited quantity of the modu ™ phone to its subscribers. This introductory modu kit will be sold by Cellcom Israel for ILS 500 (apx. $125.00) and will be sold through Cellcom Israel’s online store and calling centers. modu will expand its product line through the end of the year. In addition to the modu™ phone, consumers will receive an offer to choose a modu™ express jacket out of a variety of flavors and will also receive a carrying modu™ pouch for their phone, all free of charge.

Customers who will choose to provide modu and Cellcom Israel with periodical feedbacks on their experience with modu, will be credited for airtime.
The promotion of the modu kits will be done through a mini site that will go live the day of the launch (www.cellcom.co.il).
