Wistron and ex-E-Ten executives charged with insider trading

The ex-vice chairman of E-Ten Information Systems and Wistron's chief officer of legal affairs have been charged with insider trading due to irregularities surrounding Acer's acquisition of E-Ten in 2008.

The two are charged with speculatively purchasing E-Ten stocks before the acquisition was announced.

Acer commented that it will provide all assistance asked by investigators.
