Mobinnova shipping Android-powered handsets to Russia-based Vobis Computer, says paper

Taiwan-based handset maker Mobinnova, an affiliate company under the Foxconn Group, has converted its Windows Mobile-based smartphone, the Mobinnova Ice, to support the Android platform, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Mobinnova has shipped the Android-based Mobinnova Ice to Russia's retail channel operator Vobis Computer, which has begun marketed the device under the Highscreen PP5420 trade name, the paper noted.
