3G-network in China waiting for rapid growth

Chinese users increasingly prefer mobile terminals to support advanced 3G-networks - this trend is easily explained by the increasing proliferation of cellular networks of the standard in China. It is expected that next year China will be sold 100 million 3G-phones, and only 5 coming years - half pipes.

Chinese manufacturers are planning to put in the next year on the market 4 million phone standard TD-SCDMA and 10 million WCDMA. In 2010, experts expect the market growth of 5-10%.

Qualcomm, as the largest manufacturer of 3G-chips, with optimism awaits successful outcome in future years. MediaTek, which has a portfolio of solutions to support both TD-SCDMA, and WCDMA networks, is also seeing a good profit. TSMC, the factories which place their orders on both the above-mentioned companies, nor will vnaklade.
