China-based ZTE shipped a total of 27 million handsets in the first half of 2009, increasing 36% from a year earlier, according to a Chinese-based sina.com report, citing data released by the company.
Of the total shipments, CDMA-enabled handsets reached 5.92 million units, sina.com said.
