Sony Ericsson is about to embark on a busy Create Now Tour to meet with developers from 15 countries over the next 3 months. The first event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday 4th September 2009, followed by London, UK and Berlin, Germany. To start off these events are invitation-only, with the aim to open up further in 2010.
High on the agenda will be the unveiling of plans for a new Hero Developer Program, deeper insights into Sony Ericsson’s Applications strategy as well as a sneak peek at the handset roadmap for the future.
Developers will also be given the chance to meet 1 on 1 with members of the Sony Ericsson Developer & Partner Engagement team, the Marketing and Acquisition team responsible for deciding on applications.
These events are a part of Sony Ericsson’s commitment to engage more effectively with developers and will hopefully inspire the most creative application submissions yet.
