As the world leader in advanced IP video solutions, Motorola is enabling Farmers to deliver exciting new revenue-generating IP-based TV and entertainment experiences, as well as greater control over capital and operating expenditures. Our engineering team has worked very closely with Motorola to be aligned with the project for successful deployment to our subscribers.”

The implementation at Farmers will draw on Motorola’s extensive experience in deploying IPTV solutions from the digital headend to customer premises equipment, including Motorola’s VIP Series set-tops. This latest deployment at Farmers Telephone will additionally leverage Motorola’s already deployed MPEG-4 SD and HD encoders along with Motorola’s integrated receiver/ decoders (IRDs).
