HTC to roll out TD-LTE handsets for testing during Shanghai Expo 2010

HTC (High Tech Computer) will roll out TD-LTE handsets for testing during the upcoming Shanghai Expo 2010, according to company CEO Peter Chou.

HTC will continue to commit to the development of the TD-LTE technology and strengthen its cooperation with China Mobile in the production of related CPE products, Chou stressed.

Chou also revealed that HTC is currently rushing shipments of the HTC Hero to Sprint Nextel and the HTC HD2 to Europe due to strong demand.

HTC's performance has been strong in November, the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) quoted Chou as saying. HTC's November revenues are likely to top NT$15-16 billion (US$465.84-496.89 million) compared to NT$12.7 billion in October, the paper noted.
