Sagem Spiga: mobile internet device in clamshell form-factor

According to the French resource MIDPC, Sagem company is preparing to release a MID, which is called Spiga. This is a folding device, in fact, is a mini-laptop with a 4.8-inch touch screen and QWERTY-keyboard. The device is based on Intel Atom Z510 processor with a clock speed of 1.1 GHz and running the operating system Windows XP. Among the characteristics of Sagem Spiga - wireless modules Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a built-in 3G-modem, microSD-slot, and so on. Dimensions MID are 158h94, 1h18, 6 mm, and weight - 315 grams.

Apparently, mobile internet device Sagem Spiga was established on the basis of the decision of UMID - Mbook M1. At least, the appearance and specifications of both devices coincide. It is known that sales Spiga will begin in November, the model will cost 499 euros.
