Himfr Compares Olympus E-P2 to Panasonic GF1

BEIJING -- Himfr.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms with more than 30 B2B industry websites to its name, compares the Olympus E-P2 to Panasonic GF1.

In the second half of 2009, consumers have paid more attention to the Olympus E-P1, Olympus E-P2 and Panasonic GF1. First of all, they all basically use 12.3 mega-pixel LiveMOS sensors, interchangeable digital camera lens. Due to reduced flange distance, and compared to traditional single-lens reflex cameras, it also abolished the reflectors, and the optimum design makes the camera's body quite small. At the same, the camera lens can be replaced. So these two kinds of cameras are very popular in the market.

For the Olympus E-P2 and Panasonic GF1, the official release times are the same in China, and the configuration is not much different either. First, let's take a look at the E-P2, it looks roughly the same as the E-P1, but the E-P2 has an increased external electronic viewfinder VF-2, and the data port is an important upgrade as well. Video capture will also be upgraded to 1080p.

Panasonic GF1 is similar to the G1 and GH1, but the Panasonic also introduced a third MICRO 4/3 system camera, that is completely different from the previous two products in exterior dimensions. Due to the relatively smaller size of the GF1, this model quickly became popular. In addition to the external electronic viewfinder, the GF1 also has a built-in flash design, which the E-P1/E-P2 do not have.

While both have the same MICRO 4/3 systems, both have different styles and imaging.
