NIMbleTM Touch Engine - Delivering the Ultimate Touch Experience

Our Touch Screens:
Clear, crisp, responsive - nice to touch, beautiful to look at - Touch Revolution's Glass Surface Projective Capacitive Touch Screens provide a responsive touch surface that is actually nice to touch. The surface is completely smooth and does not require significant pressure to register a touch. The user controls the interaction with the screen; deciding whether to drag a finger slowly across the screen or gently glide across the surface quickly. Rather than delivering the "poke" style touch of resistive touch screens, Touch Revolution delivers a truly intuitive touch experience.

In addition, the glass surface is completely clear and allows the underlying display to show through brilliantly. Photos, graphics, video, and text are bright and well defined enabling a visual connection that matches the touch connection with the device.

Projective Capacitive technology used by Touch Revolution is ideal for gesture-based user interfaces running on larger form-factor (4", 7", and 10") screens. Our touch screens provide consistent and accurate touch inputs to the system and do not degrade over time with usage. In addition, the projective capacitive technology allows for sleek mechanical designs without a protruding bezel to get in the way and make the product look bulky.
The Application Framework - Android Open Application Framework
Google has created a touch-based application framework for mobile handsets called the Android platform. In October of 2008, Google created the Android Open Source Project, making the Android platform available as an open source project with an Apache 2.0 open source license option, enabling third-parties to use, modify and distribute devices running Android.

The Android platform includes an application framework that provides outstanding support for touch gestures and related animations and UI elements. In addition, Android provides a framework for controlling the download and installation of applications as well as system resources such as contacts, dialer, calendar, email, call log, and a browser.
Google has targeted mobile handsets with Android, so Touch Revolution has created its own custom software distribution based on Android supporting features such as Ethernet connectivity, alternative application launcher UI, and DECT telephony support among other features. The Touch Revolution Android distribution is made available to our partners in a source-code format that is completely customizable for the specific device.
