SerComm Corporation, together with Verizon Wireless, Demonstrates LTE-enabled Security IP Camera during CES 2010

TAIPEI, TAIWAN — SerComm Corporation (TSE: 5388), the leading manufacturer of IP camera, broadband and wireless networking equipment, announced that Sercomm, Verizon Wireless and other partners will be demonstrating a Home Monitoring and Control solution during the 2010 International CES show in Las Vegas. The collaboration and demonstration was fostered at Verizon Wireless’ LTE Innovation Center, which provides an environment for diverse companies to work together in developing innovative products that will leverage 4G LTE technology.

The Home Monitoring and Control Solution being demonstrated is comprised of wireless LTE-enabled products, which will provide home security monitoring with a SerComm LTE-enabled security IP camera, as well as energy management and home appliance monitoring from a web portal and a handset. Verizon Wireless has announced plans to launch its 4G LTE network in 25-30 markets in the United States in 2010.

The 2010 International CES runs January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are more than 2,500 CES exhibitors, a record number of first time exhibitors are expected to reveal their latest CE products and solutions to more than 110,000 attendees.
