Motorola QWERTY keyboard smartphone spotted

Handset will support Microsoft's Windows Mobile.

A new smartphone has been spotted via Motorola. To be known as the A4500, the new handset will apparently feature a full QWERTY keyboard for those frequent texters and others who need to utilize email on a regular basis. It will also run on top of the popular and stable Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. No news was received about possible upgrades to the forthcoming version 6.5.

The new phone, which will be based upon a good quality QVGA screen and will feature EV-DO and GSM (quad-band) connectivity, will also include a WiFi, wireless Internet, facility for mobile web connection. Observers say that the new Motorola handset will include a built-in camera but the specification is rather basic at just 2-megapixels, according to the PhoneScoop website

Other features will include GPS for location finding plus a TV Out and fingerprint scanner for extra security.
