Mirics Semiconductor has announced that it has added ISDB-T One-seg support to its FlexiTV multi-standard PC TV receiver. The mobile DTV standard is adopted in Japan and Brazil.
The company already supports DVB-T, DAB, T-DMB and FM standards and recently struck agreements with PC TV accessory providers Quincy Digital of Korea and Skycast of Brazil, furthering Mirics' penetration into both OEM and retail channels.
Mirics' mobile DTV solution focuses on delivering free-to-air broadcast services and content to portable computing and communications devices.
