Samsung and ECS eager to cooperate with China Mobile, say reports

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) and Samsung Electronics are both aggressively looking to cooperate with China Mobile, to supply netbook products.

Although Samsung's NC10 netbook already started shipping to China early this month, since the two sides have not yet reached an agreement over any subsidy amount, Samsung is looking to speed up negotiations with China Mobile, according to a Chinese-language Sina.com report.

ECS is also aiming to become a netbook supplier to China Mobile through its cooperation with Far Eastone Telecommunications (FET), according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
