Company «Yandex» today announced the launch of mobile search, taking into account the location of the user. Now, thanks to the support of the new service, the owners of mobile devices can find the nearest «Sportmaster», pharmacy or coffee shop, not referring to the passers-by.
To search for nearby facilities needed to install a Mobile Yandex. It can be downloaded from the page or from your mobile device. It works on platforms, Symbian and WinMobile. The service is available in Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk.
Search objects can be, and names, and services. For example, being in Moscow on Red Square, you can enter in the search line, the word «pizza», and in the Yandex search results will show the addresses of three nearby pizzerias - in GUMe on Nikolskaya and Manezhnaya. And first on the list would be one that is closer. If you prefer, you can call it - just click on a phone number. Or go to the pizzeria just by looking its location on the map.
