Inventec Appliances stands a good chance of grabbing an order for five million CDMA handsets from Motorola, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report. However, the handset maker has issued a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) stating that the speculation is not based on information from the company.
According to the paper, Inventec Appliances is likely to become Motorola's newest ODM partner, following Compal Communications and Chi Mei Communications System (CMCS).
