Taiwan market: Handset sales down over 4% sequentially in June

Sales of handsets in the Taiwan market totaled 536,700 units in June, declining 4.1% from the previous month, according to data compiled by retail channels in Taiwan.

Nokia managed to retain the number one ranking in the Taiwan handset market with an over 30% share in June, followed by Sony Ericsson with slightly below 30%, Samsung Electronics with 18%, LG Electronics (LGE) with 10%, and Motorola with 4.3%, the data indicated.
