Sony has released the world's first chips for devices that support the new wireless standard TransferJet

The Japanese company Sony has announced the commercial launch in the production of the world's first chips for devices that support the new standard for high-speed and wireless Internet connectivity between consumer devices - TransferJet.

Let us briefly recall that the standard is intended to provide a simple, fast and wireless exchange of "hard" data on the short distance between home appliances, for example, between HD cameras, digital cameras, PCs and HDD recorders.

Two new items will be supplied released in versions with 153-pin VFBGA and 99-pin WFLGA corps, and have the following parameters:

• Operating frequency: 4,48 GHz
• Baud rate: 560 Mcps
• Modulation: a method of direct sequence spread spectrum
• Data rate: adaptive
• Other functions: error correction encoding / decoding, LNA, VCO / PLL, the port control output (the output of LEDs, etc.)
• Interface: PCI / Mini PCI Rev2.3 (CXD3267AGG) / SDIO Ver2.0 (CXD3268AGW)
