A new 12-inch notebook ASUS Eee PC 1201T-based AMD Congo

According to the Italian resource Netbook Italia, the company ASUSTeK Computer is preparing to release 12-inch laptop Eee PC 1201T. It is built on the platform AMD Congo, designed for ultra-thin notebooks. It includes a processor AMD MV40 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz, chipset and integrated graphics RS780MN Radeon HD 3200. Display Resolution ASUS Eee PC 1201T is 1366x768 pixels, it supports the HD-image. Notebook is also equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 250 GB hard drive (optional offered space on a server ASUS).

Of the other characteristics of the ASUS Eee PC 1201T source mentions wireless Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 2.1, card reader with support for formats MMC / SD / SDHC. Fairly standard set of ports for such a compact device, but it is worth noting the lack of connectors HDMI. The device can operate in standalone mode for approximately 4 hours, and its weight does not exceed 1,5 kg. So far no reports about when the start selling ASUS Eee PC 1201T and how much it will cost.
