life:) launches technology DTM: Now subscribers will be able to use voice services and mobile Internet at the same time

Ukrainian mobile operator life:) announces the launch of the new technology of simultaneous transmission of voice and data Dual Transfer Mode in 16 regions of Ukraine, that now allows subscribers of mobile Internet and talking on his mobile phone at the same time.

Through partner life:), the company Ericsson, which serves a network operator, technology dual transfer mode DTM was available at all base stations of life:) in Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Khmelnytsky, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Vinnitsa, and Zhitomir regions.

Operator asserts that shortly mode DTM will work in 9 regions of Ukraine, including Crimea, through another partner, life:), the company Huawei.

It says the operator, to date, its network supports all three classes to work with GPRS Session: A, B and C. It is on the support of a GPRS phone-class dependent features that the subscriber will be able to get through technology DTM. Having a phone that supports class A, the subscriber will be able to simultaneously use voice and mobile Internet. With phone that supports the class B can receive and place calls, and the session data during a call will be transferred to the standby mode, and after its completion will automatically continue. Subscribers with handsets compatible with class C, will be able to receive calls during a session packet, but the session will be interrupted.
